Chicago: 13 Shot in 30 Minutes

In Chicago, people are assaulting one another at breakneck speed. From Thursday night until Friday morning, 19 people were shot in Chicago. Even worse, 13 people were shot in 30 minutes. Even though the overnight violence spilled over into the morning, the majority of injuries were sustained during shootings between 9:15PM and 9:45PM.

The Chicago Tribune reports:

The overnight shootings peaked between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. That’s when eight people, many of them teens, were shot at 79th Street and Essex Avenue about 9:30 p.m.
