Aside from news legends, Kelly Ripa, Rob Lowe, and Chris Rock are slated to fill in also. The most anticipated guest host is Oprah Winfrey, who will bring in heavy morning-show competition. Her best friend, Gayle King, is one of the hosts of GMA’s rival show “CBS This Morning.”
The length of time that Robins will be gone is unknown. What is known is that her treatment will take at least several months.
