On Thursday, Florida prosecutors in the Trayvon Martin murder trial accidentally released a picture of a dead Trayvon Martin as well as school records
for George Zimmerman.
Circuit Judge Kenneth R. Lester Jr. had ruled that photographs of Martin’s body after the February 26 shooting would not be released to the public. The prosecutor violated that ruling with the inadvertent release of a black and white grainy image of Trayvon Martin lying dead on the ground after he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman.
If what happened yesterday is any indication of the prosecution’s competency, then people seeking justice for Trayvon Martin should brace themselves for the worst.
The 17-year-old Martin can be seen face-down on a lawn after being shot in a black-and-white photocopied version of a picture taken by a witness.
