According to Schuster, who is attending the convention, the attendee threw nuts at a the camerawoman and referred to her as an animal. “GOP convention attendee ejected for throwing nuts at a African American CNN camera woman + saying “This is how we feed anmials.”@TakeActionNews #TAN,” his tweet reads.
Later on, CNN did confirm there was an incident via an official statement, but didn’t release any specific details. “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon,” the network said in a statement. “CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”
The identity of the attendee was not immediately known. It is also unclear as to whether the person was a delegate or just someone with a ticket to the convention center.

@ David2001…when you get a chance goggle Walter Francis White and read his bio. Look at him. Read what he did. You will be surprised and educated at his appearance and accomplishments of light skinned blacks like him who were on the front lines (big time) in the war against bigotry. Don’t hate on Soladad. None of us have any choice by how we look!! She’s a person of color in a country which has defined us as black persons if all that is needed is one drop of it.

There has been an endless crusade searching for the new ‘N’ word. ‘Animal’ seems to fit the bill. Just as ‘kid’ is the new word for boy. Soladad O’Brien has a black mother which, by America standards, makes her black. Other notable light skinned blacks are: W.E.B. Dubois, Thurgood Marshall, Julian Bond, Walter White, Lena Horne and Lolo Jones, track star. Please, don’t by into the color divide. It’s another way to divide our race.

The Republican Party continues to be saddled with the baggage of being race baiters because their leadership continues to pour oil on the racial fires bhy failing to repudiate their followers when they step out of line. People like Donald Trump, Michelle Bachman and more recently Mitt Romney have decided that can be as racist as they want to be as they would not be getting the black votes anyway.
Racism is alive and well and those attendees who called the news member an animal and threw nuts at him believe they are doing one for the team as neither Paul Ryan, John McCain or Mitt Romney will call them out and give a public apology to the reporter.

There should be no surprize here.
I’m pretty sure that there will be racist democrats.
But I’m 100% sure that the majority of racists in the USA are republicans, even though I have have to stop short of calling all republicans racist.
No African American should waste his/her hard won voting rights by picking any republican candidate anywhere, anytime. Irrespective of policies, irrespective of dismay with the incumbent president, irrespective of any other element or circumstance.
There are simply too many good ol’ boys in the GOP, who just can’t eradicate the brain washing to which they were subjected during their upbringing. No matter how much they doth protest.
Somehow, somewhere, sometime, people of colour will suffer indignities and repression under a Republican adminstration. Bigotry is simply too deeply ingrained into GOP members and supporters.
The euphoria which greeted the election of a black president has dissipated, and that’s perhaps as much the fault of Obama as anything/anyone else
But, oh!, the alternative is surely dire, and especially given the singularly low intelligence factor and frequently displayed lack of honesty and open-ness of the GOP’s candidate. Please, please come to your senses and realize the consequences of a vote for Romney!

CNN loves to talk about race and even had a show with Don Lemon and Whoopie Goldberg about censorship crying about how they can’t use the n word. ALL these idiotic shows about Race in America hosted by a non black person Soladad O’Brien and now they have a opportunity to talk about it and have no comment. This is the same network CNN that fired Rick Sanchez for saying allegedly offensive things about Jews. This shows the hypocrisy of CNN. When it comes to the reality of racial hatred they have no further comment. I notice the term “animals” is being used more often now by white racist to refer to black people. You usually hear it in relation to black crime. IMO the word animal is being used just like the n word. CNN reaction or I should say non-reaction is an example of how indifferent many whites truly feel about us and how the white media (liberal and conservative) protects them.

@ Rev Brooks: Yeah, well I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting on ANYONE to step up. This whole damned country is a hopeless place and I have no faith in humanity to EVER “do the right thing” – whatever the h**l THAT IS!

CNN may say that they have no further comment about this hateful, racist incident, BUT the black woman should certainly tell other media about it, IF Wolf Blitzer, who is leading the CNN team there in Tampa, won’t do or say anything about the mistreatment of one of our black women. So what are you waiting for Brother Boyce, Roland Martin, Ed Gordon and BET, Al Sharpton, and others? But the woman, if she has any respect for herself, certainly ought to speak out loudly about this. And if need be, d**n CNN !!! Now, let’s see if the black media, and civil rights leaders are going to go to her rescue. — Rev. George Brooks

God did not make any favorites. However those who
are descended from the people who had a covenant with God had better re-read the contract. God is seeking those who will worship him in spirit and in truth. Find out what that means before you assume that you know what I am talking about. Deception is rampant on this planet. Never forget this…”envy not the oppressor nor choose any of his ways.” If you forget this you will find yourselves becoming oppressors. To become an oppressor is to oppose God.
