Atheist Group Billboard: ‘God Fixation Won’t Fix This Nation’

An atheist group in Wisconsin believes that ‘God Fixation Won’t Fix This Nation’ and they plan to post billboards at the Democratic and Republican National Convention sites to share their message.

Madison based group, The Freedom From Religion Foundation, posted a billboard in Tampa, on Thursday and they plan to put up two more billboards in Charlotte, N.C.

The FFRF released a statement in which their Co-President, Dan Barker, emphasized the purpose of their billboards saying,

[The billboards are] an equal-opportunity message to both political parties and all public officials…Essentially, we secularists, who comprise nearly a fifth of the U.S. population, are telling government officials that it’s time to get off your knees and get to work!”
