As we approach the 11th anniversary of the death of R&B recording artist, Aaliyah, Blackground Records just announced a forthcoming Aaliyah album on Billboard.biz. The label confirmed her album will be composed of 16 unreleased songs and “fragments” from Aaliyah’s archive to produce an LP by the end of the year. Young Money artist and Aaliyah-tattoo-toting fan, Drake, was featured on a new single by Aaliyah titled “Enough Said” that has acquired a plethora of listens on the internet.
