Court Ruling Supports Obama Funding for Stem Cell Research

This week, a federal court upheld the Obama Administration’s desire to fund embryonic stem cell research. The ruling was made in spite of the Dickey/Wicker Amendment, which was previously interpreted to not allow such funding.

Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Attorney Steven H. Aden said that he was disappointed in the ruling, arguing that Americans should not be asked to use taxpayer dollars to pay for research that is against their beliefs.
