The mayor of Dallas admitted that the city is searching for quick solutions to a recent outbreak of the West Nile Virus that has the city in a panic. A state of emergency has been declared, and officials are taking the matter very seriously.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says that more cases of the West Nile Virus have been reported this year than any year since the disease was discovered. Nearly half of the 693 cases this year have been in Texas, and 14 of the 26 deaths have been confirmed by the federal government.
