In a really funny video that kinda clowns the people at AT&T, a guy by the name of Ryan Kearney explains why it costs $35 million dollars to send an HD video via text message through AT&T while roaming outside the United States.

Now, we’re not sure if you’re a math geek or not, but since this site is called “Techyville,” we are going to presume that you know basic math at least.  If you are a bigger math geek, then we recommend you run over to Ryan’s page and see his calculations in detail.  But the long and short of it is that Ryan had a twitter debate with an AT&T rep about just how many bits of data are sent via one text message.
