Kanye West Wins Major Lawsuit for Copyright Infringement

Kanye West emerged as the boss in a recent lawsuit against him over his 2007 hit song, “Stronger.”  The song was on the airwaves worldwide and became an anthem for millions, with Kanye raking in major dough in the process.

A copyright infringement lawsuit had been filed against West, and he declared victory this week as a judge ruled in his favor.  A man by the name of Vincent Peters claimed that West copied pieces of his song, which was made in 2006.  Not only did the songs have the same name, but they both reference the 19th century philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche.
