Chicago has the highest murder rate in the nation? I don’t believe it. We all know how murder free Chicago is with all its more-than effective gun control laws. Look at the astronomical murder rates in Virginia where law-abiding citizen can purchase nearly any type of gun in a few hours (machine guns take longer) and thousands of rounds of ammunition. And hundreds of thousands of citizens carry concealed handguns out in public. Virginia should be made a gun-free zone just like Chicago, Virginia Tech, and the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colorado. We all know that gun-free zones save lives. Virginia should adopt the same gun control laws Chicago has. What was that body count again? Joseph L. Bass, Ed.D. http://www.abettersociety.info

Yeah but regardless of stats, we’re talking about just stopping the violence all together. I’m glad he stood up in a public square for his home town. People need to take his example and stop worrying about what’s happening with Kim K. and all those irrelevant folks. We have real issues that needs to be addressed.
