Racist Church Apologizes for Turning Away Black Couple

First Baptist Church Crystal Springs stirred up a big controversy when they asked a Black couple, Te’Andrea and Charles Wilson, to move their wedding ceremony to a different church. The couple who regularly attended First Baptist Church Crystal Springs, were  told by Rev. Stan Weatherford that  some members of the church members were upset because a black couple had never been married in the church.

This past Sunday, the church issued a formal apology.
