Remember Arrested Development? He’s Resurrecting Hip Hop with an Award-Winning Song

You don’t have to be over the age of 40 to enjoy this one, but it might help.  But if you can appreciate dope music, you don’t need to be any age.

If you were around back when hip hop wasn’t on a mission to single-handedly destroy black people, you remember Speech from Arrested Development.  Their song, “Tennessee” was even conscious at a time when conscious music wasn’t that uncommon to hear on the radio.

It is funny that I am seeing this article now, because it was just yesterday that I was saying that Speech and arrested development made music that was supposed to be the next level of hip hop (which was educational music with solid melodious beats). 80s rap, as I remembered it was educational; songs about black history and history in general, nothing demonizing, as compared to today’s rap.

However, hip hop was sidetracked by gangster rap, which the black community did not need and still does not need. gangster rap, unfortunately took off, replacing rap’s true elevation of where arrested development was sure to take it. I remember watching unsung, which featured arrested development, and someone had said that they were ahead of their time. They really were. If anyone is interested, check out the gospel rapper THE AMBASSADOR. Go onto youtube and type in the search bar THE AMBASSDOR GIMME DAT. He alo has an album titled CHRISTOLOGY. Youtube will give you all the songs, which you can listen to right there. Jesus Love you. God bless you.

Sure Thing! I love the AMBASSADOR. Love it. I’m glad Arrested Development is state side again. The bottom line is that the music industry has found a way to drag us down with our own music. NO bodies mom is minding their business enough to listen to the tripe they play on the radio and put a stop to kids listening to ADULT music.
