Usher Held in Contempt of Court

The singer Usher has just been held in contempt of court.  The court apparently felt that Usher’s decision to slice his ex-wife’s Saks Fifth Avenue card was out of line, leading them to put the smack down on the man who might have thought he was above the law.   Usher closed the account last year and the judge has ordered him to re-open the account.

If the card was in both names, evidently he tried to get her to sign papers removing her name.If she didn’t then that is why Judge held him in contempt. If a wife or husband has a card in their own name and demise the spouse does not have to pay debt.

If his name was on the credit card account, why not? She could open the account in her own name if her credit will allow and then consider economy and bargain shopping.
