In this video, the late Michael Clarke Duncan discusses how he made his money before becoming famous. This video is a reminder that, for most of us, we don’t get what we are seeking on the first try. Duncan literally says that he dug ditches for the gas company in order to make a living. He also worked as a bouncer in night clubs and served as a bodyguard for some big name celebrities.
So, if you have a dream, don’t give up on yourself. The struggles you’re experiencing will only give you a better story to tell on CNN. Check out the video:
