No Jail Time for Chad Johnson for Headbutting Wife

Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson has avoided serving any jail time in his assault case where his now ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada, accused him of headbutting her during an argument that escalated.

TMZ reported that the former NFL player plead guilty as part of a deal in which he would avoid serving any jail time. The deal between Johnson and Broward County prosecutors requires Johnson to attend “extensive anger management counseling” and he will also be on probation.

On August 11, police arrested Johnson after he got into an argument with his wife. The fight is reported to have started when Lozada found a receipt for some condoms in her husband’s car. The receipt was in the trunk of the car.
