Game Over: Chad Johnson Charged With Domestic Battery

Chad Johnson Charged with Domestic Battery after Head butting Evelyn Lozada

Chad Johnson has been formally charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery following a domestic dispute with his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada, in which Johnson allegedly head-butted her during a heated argument. Lozada sought medical treatment (e.g. stitches on her forehead) when paramedics arrived on the scene. The incident occurred last month.

The Broward State Attorney’s Office in Florida filed the charge Wednesday. Johnson faces up to a year in county jail. Immediately following his arrest, Johnson was later freed on $2,500 bond and released from the Miami Dolphins professional football team a day after the arrest. Johnson is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning and to file a written plea of not guilty.

Good for this idiot, and since this is his 3rd offense with domestic violence, I hope the judge gives him the year in prison, and make him a felony offender. This is ridiculous…

I feel sorry for Chad, for real, I’ve taken the time – unfortunately – to watch Basketball wives and Evelyn is f*****g bat-s**t crazy. She will attempt to kill you if you look at her funny. I honestly in his case the term “battery” is relative. I think it was self-defense as there is documented proof of Evelyn’s bullying.

Now is when his team should have considered whether or not to keep him–not before. If he was not black, we would have seen him on the field during week one of the season.
