I featured Charity Jordan’s web series, ‘Mommy Uncensored: Confessions of a Real Mom’ earlier this month here at Your Black World. In the premiere episode, we meet Karen Wright, a former counselor turned stay-at-home mom who chronicles her journey through motherhood via her digital camera.

In episode two, ‘Mommy Uncensored: Pool Cover-Up’ Karen faces the sad reality that her hot, pre-baby body is a thing of the past. Post baby weight is a sensitive topic for new mothers and Karen is no exception. Her anxieties and insecurities about her extra girth run high when Karen is invited to a pool party.
