Muhammad Ali Awarded the Prestigious Liberty Medal for His Extraordinary Contributions to Humanity

The great Muhammad Ali is getting his due this week by being award the highly prestigious Liberty Medal.  The medal is being granted to Ali to recognize his extraordinary work in civil rights and other important arenas.

The award gives him $100,000 in cash and is supported by the US National Constitution Center.  The center, when granting Ali the medal, described him as “an ambassador for peace and justice worldwide”.
