This past weekend I watched Oprah interview Usher about his life after divorcing Tameka. Of course, the interview included a conversation about Usher marrying Tameka against his mother’s advice, cheating on her, divorcing her and then finally, winning custody of his two boys.
Here’s the part that a lot of people are glossing over: He cheated!
Let me first address the elephant in the room: We all know that if a woman is going to marry a man of Usher’s fame and fortune, there has to be a small part of her, maybe even a big part of her, that acknowledges that infidelity is not out of the question.

Thats why I stay to myslef. No man to lie and decieve me and God knows a woman can’t do a d**n thing for me in the s*x/romance department. Jus do you, focus on what makes you happy for success. If a man is going to enter the picture oh well it will happen. If not, oh well this is probably how it is suppose to be for a season or two. Relax! we women are not here to serve any man no ways. Name one worth serving? JUST 1? Even a man full of the Holy Spirit has a lustful eye. Please….No man is worth it to me the drama, complaints and bickering. MY OPINION!

As far as being faithful, she never had the coming in the first place. She didn’t marry a regular guy. If devotion is important for you, you better not marry a celebrity.

to make the ignorant comment that just because Usher is famous he should not be expected to be an upstanding and honest man is the reason our woman are dying of Aids at record numbers. YES is should be expected to be honest, and live with his vows. It’s strange how you people are always willing to accept him making Tameka the villain. He cheated on chilli also so is she also the blame? The blame goes to the man/child that cant keep his thing in his pants. He will cheat on the ole broad he’s with now. He can’t get a dime out of me. You silly woman keep giving him a pass but as far as i’m concerned he’s an empty vessel.

Most couples in the entertainment world will not stay together long. They are on the road 24/7 and don’t have the time to spend with their wifes/girlfriends or children.
Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis stayed together because they had an open marriage like Will and Jada Smith. They knew that other men and women would be in their lives, while they were on the road!
I belive a man should have more than one wife because the MAJORITY of men and women cheat on each other, anyway. THESE ARE FACTS!
You can have a wife just to do the cooking because all women can’t cook; you can have a wife that would keep the house clean because all women don’t want to keep a clean house, and you could have a wife for s*x because all women don’t want to be s****l.
This way ALL bases are covered, as long as, the ‘family’ agree with that type of marriage. We must OVERstand, NOBODY can control a man’s or woman’s feelings when they see somebody they might want to spend some time with…either for pleasure or just to have a good conversation.

That’s the perfect scenario for most men, b/c that way they can have their cake & eat it too, but its not gonna work for most women. No way! As far as open marriages go, I read where Ruby mentioned that the idea was primarily Ossie’s (its usually a male fantasy not necessarily a woman’s thing) but it isn’t an idea that she espouses or thinks worked all that well. I really can’t wrap my mind around sharing my husband w. another woman openly or otherwise. How many men would be willing to share their wives w. other men? Not many!

Perhaps a woman should have more than one husband. 1. Money, all men don’t, won’t or can’t make the kind of money a woman needs.
2. A man for s*x because all men can’t put it down like that.
3. A man for romance because men don’t think that’s important.
4. a man to cook because all women can’t cook.
