Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan apparently has a type when it comes to the women he spends his time with. Some think that his type happens to be black, but it’s deeper than that. He seems to like the black women who spend time in prison.
We’re not sure if Ryan himself knew about this, but the black ex-girlfriend that Ryan bragged about as he tried to prove he wasn’t a racist also happens to be a felon. According to TMZ, Deneeta Pope was busted for major white collar theft back in 1999. She was accused of stealing $77,000 from her former employer, Ernst & Young.
Pope pled guilty to stealing a lesser amount in 2001. She also admitted to inflating her expense reports, creating false receipts, and using fake invoices. This led to her being charged and convicted. She allegedly transferred the money from a bank in Delaware to another account in Chicago.
Pope was also accused of charging the company for sending her to an educational course that didn’t even exist. We wonder if Ryan is going to be asked about this one. Now we know why Pope was clear that she didn’t want to get involved in the presidential campaign.

Why is she always being called Paul Ryans black ex girlfriend? her race shouldn’t matter at all, yet that is all we hear about. What these tabloids should say is paul ryan’s ex girlfriend did time in prison, and not mention her skin color.

Because he used her to “prove” he was not racist, she is now exposed for a past indescretion.I’m sure she regrets knowing him, she is about to get married, maybe her husband to be and his people did not know this,thanks a lot Ryan for s******g an old “friend”

I have chocolatie lover rador, I can spot a jungle lover any where, he is not one! He knew he could not play the I have black friends card, he had to come up with another way to get to black voters. Just because you have dated or been married to a black person does not mean you are not racist. h**l, ask a black man or woman whose been with a white person, what is the most hurtful thing their white partner ever said to them and I bet they tell you, they called them the N word!

I really don’t care for this article because I don’t care about who Ryan dated in college. Unless of course she’s in politics or out stumping for these two clowns. I know for a fact that someone I dated in college went to prison. That was after I knew him and it certainly didn’t have anything to do with me. Who doesn’t have an ex with a few issues? I’d rather read about Ryan’s bad policies and horrible plans for the country. I’m all for people doing their time and becoming productive citizens again. The only person this really embarrasses is Pope. This lady probably just wants to repair her wrongs and be left alone like so many black folks that have been behind bars.

From the onset, I will candidly state that I am not a Paul Ryan fan! I do not share the same political view that he and his buddy Mitt Romney is trying to sell to the U.S. voter! With that said, what is the point of publishing this story? He dated this woman LONG before he became a significant figure in the GOP. Moreover, Ryan was not a party, in any way, in these felony convictions! In short, he had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with any of this foolishness that sister committed! I do not like this kind of “news reporting” even when it involves conservatives whose views and ideas may not align with what might serve African Americans’ interest! I am disappointed because I thought that Your Black World was bigger and better than this!

Surely there must be a way in which everyone can see just how easily they are playing us?
They would have us believe that we, in fact, are getting to vote for our choices, and that our choices have our best interest in mind. But ‘their’ choices are not to benefit the nation! Their choices are to shield themselves while they pillage and commit genocide all around the world while using ‘our money’ to do it, and leaving we and our children greatly suffering from the horrible the results!

Regardless of how non important this is to sensible people, if the shoe was on the other foot like it had been the first time around for Obama it would be world news. The party on the other side would have hunted this woman down and forced her involvement if it was Obama she dated instead of Ryan. They took every tidbit of would be contraversy and slammed it in our faces. I would hope the next contraversy on Ryan and Romney are real ones.

Tacky story! As much as I dislike Paul LYIN, this was pretty low. These two dated in C-O-L-L-E-G-E. She embezzled money from her employer after college. You said it yourself that this was back in 1999. So how was Lyin Ryan supposed to predict the future? Throw the sista under the bus, but he still comes out smelling like a rose.

@Samuel T. Ross-Lee. You can only speak for yourself when you implore that “we are not all dumb”. The fact of the matter is that you are wrong! We are all not only dumb, but we are stupid, ignorant, and suffering from numerous psychological conditions! There are so many examples around us showing my theory to be proven true! It is difficult for the individual to scrutinize and criticize himself, but that is exactly what is needed before one can begin to recover from this “societal madness”! The fact of the matter is that we have been fed so much garbage, and we have (unknowingly) been so assimilated into what I can only describe as a cesspool of hypocrisy and blatant crime, that we can not judge what is actually ‘good and proper’ in the grand scale that is this ‘our’ societal-structure.
So not only are we overly deceived, but we go on to deceive ourselves as well! We live in complete denial of our condition as related to the pillaging-owners of this, our birthplace. We believe the abundance of lies (save the dreadful secrets) we are plied with, with a zeal that is frightening! We (most of us) are living in a social environment that is ‘fictitious’ to say the least! And we are left much more than “dumbfounded”!

Can you imagine this folks. I made a criticism of this article on Facebook and Boyce Watkins took it so personal that he has booted me off his page. His assertion that I’m hatin’ is quite off base as well. I was simply disappointed in what I feel is a highly irrelevant piece of information. Folks, we can’t always agree on everything and if you’re in the business of information dissemination, there are going to be differences of opinions. The question is will you take it as a personal attack if someone is critical of a particular issue or will you simply accept that criticism as being part of the landscape and move on. I certainly wasn’t malicious nor were my comments directed as a personal attack, yet, Boyce summarily dispatched me, with quite an alacrity, I might. I was on his page one minute and gone the next. I think that’s too bad.
