Stand Up Ladies! Venus and Serena Refuse to Let a Film Portray their Father Negatively

Venus and Serena Williams started out supporting a documentary that told their life story but now that they have realized that the movie paints a negative picture of their father,Richard Williams, they have withdrawn their support.

Until recently, the Williams sisters had the intention of appearing on the red carpet at the movie’s premier at the Toronto International Film Festival. The tennis star sisters had allowed the film makers to take a very intimate look into their lives for the purpose of making the documentary. The film, “Venus and Serena,” chronicles how the two stars rose from Compton to their current status as international tennis super stars.

Go head strong black sisters! They know that the wicked media looks for every opportunity to demonize & tear down strong brilliant blk men like their father; especially when that father has nurtured & raised up two genius talents who now reign over a lily white tennis world. The evil racist media has done the same to Joe Jackson, father of the greatest entertainer ever. Joe along w. Katherine kept their large family intact against all odds & produced the greatest entertainment family n history. Yet these men r never given any credit for anything positive that they have done. This racist system 24/7 strives to annihilate the image of blk ppl thru first demonizing & demeaning all blk men to the full extent. Venus & Serena r too smart not to recognize the okey doke!

That is one of the reason the movie producers thought, these women would go against their black father, because they date whitemen. I think because of the gruesome death of their sister some years back at the hands of black men, they started dating outside their race, which happens when money broadens your circle of caliber of people. Its a big changing world out there, nothing remains rigid, far as black and white.

First of all this white media want to make money off Blacks as we all know, the minute one of the athletes makes a mistake they give them negative press,if the Sisters were White they would have the key to the Country, that is seen the way the american Media adopt any white tennis player from any Country who comes up against the Sisters,of course they have a problem with their Father what they see is a very Strong Brother who does not take any c**p from them, looks them straight in the eye and say what’s on his mind.

The Media and Hollywood, have a tendency to Portray Black People in a Negative Way.Venus and Serena Would Not be Where They are Today if it Wasn’t for Their Father,as Well as Their Mother…The same goes for The Jackson Five. The Media Portrayed Joe Jackson as a Cruel Father, but He was a Great Father….Venus,Serena, and The Jackson Five All Have Great Fathers and Also Wonderful Parents…The White Media, Have a Perception That Black Folk Do Not Matter or Don’t Read. Then how does one Account for The Success of The Black Media? It is because”We Do Read.”And When We Read Articles and Essays or See Movies,That are Relevant,Uplifting and Afro-Centric,We Become Fortified Against The Intended Derogatory Affects of The Predominately Negative Characterizations That are Frequently Directed Towards The African American Community by Other White Media…This is Why,There is a Dire Need for Our Own Black Media. We Need To State Our Case and Plead Our Own Cause. In Essence,Tell Our Own Story…Don’t Get White-Wash Venus and Serena.

Good for the Williams sisters. The white media loves to bash black men. They are trying to do the same thing with olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas.
