Man Surprises President Obama by Bear Hugging Him Off the Ground

A man likely raised the eyebrows of the Secret Service when he grabbed President Barack Obama and gave him a massive bear hug.  Scott Van Duzer lifted the president a full foot in the air in a hug that sources say wasn’t planned or expected.

The Florida man also happens to be a registered Republican, but he says he’s going to vote for Obama in November.  The Secret Service says that the hug was ok, as long as he didn’t try to take the president away.

The incident occurred at the end of a two-day bus trip, where the president made a quick stop at Big Apple Pizza & Pasta.
