Protesters in a many countries across the Muslim world, including Tripoli, Lebanaon vented furious anger against the West on Friday as the controversy over an anti-Islamic film spread rampant. A KFC restaurant was torched in Lebanon, and violent attacks on U.S. embassies in the Islamic countries of Sudan, Tunisia, and Egypt raged on as well. Fierce protests were also held in Jordan and Pakistan.

U.S. embassies and consulates are braced for trouble on the Muslim day of prayer, when demonstrations are often held.
