It’s always great to catch up with friends, especially over dinner and drinks, more so after putting in long hours at work.  Every once in a while a get together with friends can easily turn into a team dinner or a restaurant take over when you arrive with your wolf-pack of 8-10 best girl/guy friends. Nevertheless, you arrive with the intention to have a great time.

The waiter comes, your order is taken, drinks are consumed 2, 3 and let’s not be modest 4 times over. You talk, you joke and then the inevitable cloud begins to loom, the bill arrives.  Now, if you are anything like me, you perform what seems to be an instantaneous mental calculation of the nosh and libations you have consumed—you know exactly what you owe.
