Star songstress and Kansas City, Kansas native Janelle Monae scored another big accolade by becoming Cover Girl’s most recent pitch person. The 26-year-old phenom recently held an interview with the Huffington Post about her new experience with the cosmetic giant. Her adorable image has made her a sought after commodity for Cover Girl and the experience adds tremendous marketability to her expanding brand. HP: Congrats on the fab Cover Girl gig! Are you feeling extra easy, breezy and beautiful?
JM: Of course! To be celebrated by a brand that encourages all women to embrace their own artistic style, believes every woman is a CoverGirl and encourages you to be yourself, how couldn’t you?
