Jay-Z Firmly Voices His Support For Obama in Upcoming Election

Influential rapper and business mogul Sean “Jay-Z” Carter recently held and interview with MTV News while he was celebrating the release of the NBA 2K13 video game. The media was on location at Jay’s  40/40 Club in Manhattan, New York as the veteran MC promoted the popular video game, which he also executive produced.

He was questioned about his ardent support for President Barack Obama in the upcoming election. He quoted the following in the MTV News interview:

“I support Barack because I gotta respect that sort of vision. I gotta respect a man who is the first black President ever. To have that sort of vision and dream, I have to support that. (MTV)”
