Obama Chills with Jay Z and Beyonce at the 40/40 Club

Last night Barack Obama headlined his Jay Z and Beyonce fundraiser event at Jay Z’s 40/40 Club near Madison Square Park in the Chelsea district of New York City. The 100 person fundraising event cost each attendee a reported $40,000 per ticket with the proceeds going to the Obama Victory Fund, a fundraising account of the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Obama thanked his supporters and joked that he and Jay Z had a lot in common. “We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are.” (classic)
