Pro-Life African Americans: Abortion is Like Genocide of Black Babies

Pro-life African Americans are likening the abortion of black babies to genocide of babies within the Black race. A little known statistic is that one out of every four babies aborted is a Black baby.

Christian leaders and other believers have launched a campaign to save the babies. Their message is that all babies deserve to live  regardless of who they are or what their circumstances are.

Pastor Stephen Broden of the group, Life Always, said,

“We’re witnessing numbers of about 1,500 black babies a day that are dying.”

Broden feels that part of the problem is that the media refuses to cover what they feel is a genocide. His organization, Life Always, has made the effort to put up as many billboards around the country as they can. They hope that the billboards will show that the abortion of Black babies is a growing tragedy.
