Russell Simmons and Questlove are going head to head for the upcoming election.

The Def Jam co- founder  and The Roots hip hop bandmember are competing to see who can raise the biggest amount of money for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

Currently Questlove has raised 73 percent of the funds andSimmons has raised 26 percent. Russell Simmons hit Twitter recently to quote the following line:

questlove is bustin’ my a** in this fundraising competition for @BarackObama. I need people to join my team! HELP”
