Domestic Violence Activists in Guyana Say No to Chris Brown Concert

Headlines are reporting that young couple, Chris Brown and Rihanna, have forgiven and forgotten and have  reignited the flames of their relationship. Chris Brown recently ended a relationship with his girlfriend of two years, Karrueche Tran, and he admitted that he ended it because he did not want to hurt her by  pursuing a “friendship” with Rihanna.

While Rihanna may have forgiven that Brown physically abused her, Domestic Violence activists in Guyana have not.

Chris Brown is scheduled to appear in Guyana for a concert and it is causing  a stir. Guyanese activists say that Brown beat Rihanna and escaped jail time, which is what happens in Guyana; men beat women and they are allowed to go free without facing any major consequences.
