Last month, Rihanna sat down with Oprah for her “Next Chapter” series. Oprah, known to ask probing questions, didn’t hold back from asking the singer if she still loves Chris Brown — her ex-boyfriend who brutally beat her three years ago. A tearful Rihanna admitted that she still loves Chris and was hoping he’d gotten the help he needs.

Ever since the shocking interview aired, there has been a drastic shift in Rihanna and Chris Brown’s interaction. The initial citing took place during the MTV Awards, when Rihanna deviated from her original path to her seat to hug Chris Brown. The next citing took place at a VIP section for Jay-Z’s concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where Chris Brown was seen placing his arms around Rihanna.
