R&B stars Chris Brown and Rihanna are allegedly back together now, but on Grammy night 2009, Chris brown choked Rihanna until she was almost 
unconscious and attempted to push her out of a moving car.
Since then, Brown has struggled to remake his image by appearing contrite, but he has also, on at least one occasion, burst into a fit of anger when questioned about the incident.
Brown says he can’t seem to live the 2009 incident down, and he may be right, since white students are now dressing in black face to parody the abusive incident.
Three white students at Waverly High School in Waverly, New York allegedly wore blackface as they reenacted the domestic violence incident between Chris Brown and Rihanna at a pep rally, according to a CNN iReport.
Some observers of the parody say it was racist, but is it racist to re-enact a real-life event? Is it racist? Sexist? Or just in bad taste?
The question parents should be asking is what does a 2009 domestic violence incident have to do with educating their children? It would seem that the students at this high school would have more important things to do than re-enact moments of domestic violence. And was this nonsense approved by the teachers or any other adults at the school?
Domestic violence isn’t something that should be taken lightly. It isn’t a joke. But neither is the value of a good education. Looking at these images, it’s no surprise that students in other countries are running circles around America’s children in science and math.

wtf?! i am througly disgusted by what Chris Brown did to Rhianna that night. but I seriously think this parody is irrelevant. i am certain that these students could give a rat’s a*s about Rhianna’s welfare. they just wanted to employ the racist tactic of ‘blackface’. and they wanted any excuse to do so.

Domestic violence is no JOKE. But we cant have it one way, if black actors, comedians, praise dancers etc. can paint their faces. Chris and Rhianna will always be a target until they are happily married in their 90′s or one is dead and the other in jail in their 20′s.

Look everywhere around you and you will find that everyone is insane to some degree and on different subjects. Most people will not admit that they have some serious problems about one thing or another, some are simply oblivious to their negative psychological status and many are in complete denial!
Our mental problems show up in the strangest ways, and some people use alcohol, drugs, smoking, food, and forms of accumulation and hoarding, etc, to self medicate for the psychological problems they don’t realize or understand exist.
As for Rihanna. When two otherwise loving people resort to verbal and physical abuse, they are showing their minute signs of dementia. When students in a school resort to portraying others negatively and in racist tones they are showing bits of their dementia.
Everyone is crazy..We only need to pinpoint what levels and forms these mental problems present themselves.

Of course it is in poor taste, possibly racist and sexist as well. On the other hand, what can one expect when one places personal relationships on public display? It seems that these days the only role models the media portray of Black people are entertainers, young, hip-hop, rapping puppets of the mainstream media.
And granted, this has nothing to do with the education of White students, except to perpetuate the racist culture that is endemic to this society. That said, we can create better models of behavior than to showcase the neurotic behavior of two young, unfortunately, unaware people. Tragic but not at all surprising.
