Louis Farrakhan’s Grandson Signs With the Milwaukee Bucks

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is a well known and controversial leader in this country. His vision for a self-reliant African-American community has struck a chord among many in the black community, culminating with the Million Man March. But Farrakhan has also been accused of being an anti-Semite, among other things. Right wing blogs regularly rehash and replay fiery Farrakhan speeches as a way of stoking white fear, but Farrakhan has remained an important figure in the black community in spite of it all.

Now it seems that Louis Farrakhan isn’t the only member of his family who is going to enjoy the limelight. Farrakhan’s grandson,  Mustapha Farrakhan Jr., is headed to the Milwaukee Bucks to play professional basketball.
