NAACP official David Lowery says he was threatened during a phone conversation with Louis Raymond, the Illinois political director for Obama for 
America.
Lowery is the president of the South Suburban Branch of the NAACP in Chicago, and says Raymond threatened him after Lowery told the campaign he doesn’t “personally support the president because he’s not addressing issues important to the black community.” Lowery said he was explaining that to Raymond when the Obama campaign staffer told him, “You know what? I know everything about you.”
Lowery says Raymond then added, “We’ve been watching you, and since you don’t support Obama, we’ll deal with you,” before hanging up on him.

What ever your thoughts may be about Mr. Obama, good or not so good, It is important to remember our struggles to get where we are, at this point. Not voting for Obama is sin full. Don’t turn your back to Obama…go for him!

I”m sorry but, someone please tell me just how much better us blacks are now than we were four years ago? I just finished looking at the REAL black unemployment numbers and they aren’t good. Student loans went up from 3 to 6%. Chicago is a mess, Detroit is lost, the Detroit police are handing out flyers that say “enter at your own risk”. The Federal government advises US citizens to stay away from certain counties along the southern border.
I’m sorry my brothers and sister but, for the first two years the Democrats held both the House, the Senate and the Presidency. Our President could have passed any law that he wanted to LEGALLY.
Now what we have are young (mostly Mexican) immigrants semi-legalized so that they can better compete for the young black jobs.
Stimulus money gone to cronies and what about our religion. What has this administration done for OUR faith?
Hard facts to the contrary of what I stated above would be good and I keep looking for them but, they seem to be very elusive.

Not surprising. Chicago politics at it’s finest. The real Obama came out at the debate. The one who speaks all the party words on his teleprompter but doesn’t know jack without it. Mr promise the moon and stars and just leave you sitting in the dark. Thanks to Obama’s over a trillion dollar deficit per year whoever is president next will be having to cut all kinds of programs. Unemployment sucks. The deficit sucks, the middle east is blowing up. I am not voting for that opportunistic brother again.

Right On republican Rule=NRA rule, People just don’t assume Obama has this in the bag…..This election will become a horse race for every ballot there will be another, SO MAKE YOUR VOTE HEARD/AND GET OUT AND REGISTER TO VOTE. Otherwise, all minorities, such as the hispanics, and other illegals will be swimming back to where they came from, because Romney is not playing with anyone….Even Big Bird is not off limits for the axe!

David Lowery can only give or deny his own support for a candidate. He certainly does not speak the sentiments of the entire body of the NAACP and he should not even pretend that he does. What is the man talking about? Does he not know that health care and jobs are the most important issues of the black community. Since Mr. Lowery feels so empowered why is he not taking on the issues that he feels are being neglected by the president. Mr. Lowery is being paid to address black issues, Mr. Obama’s job is to address all issues for all of the people.

In 2008 Barack’s Brownshirts issued death threats against Tavis Smiley and his mother. The same thing happened to Ohio Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs-Jones. One never knows when a bunch of overzealous idiots are going to act out their threats.

He is lucky that he did not criticize George W. Bush at the time he was running. He would have gotten more than a threat he would be on death row.
