Proud Racist Shop Owner Creates Halloween Display of Obama as Witch Doctor

Four years into Barack Obama’s presidency and racists still can’t help themselves. Obama’s presidency has opened the door for racists to display a nastiness that had remained seething below the surface so long as that main bastion of white supremacy, The White House, remained white.

But now racists are out and proud, as evidenced by the New Jersey shop owner who is displaying President Obama as a witch doctor in his store window.

The Asbury Park Press reports:

The display includes an image of President Barack Obama’s head superimposed on the body of a witch doctor above the word ‘ObamaCare.’ It also contains a hat with the letters ‘F.Y.B.O.’, an acronym for an explicative phrase against Barack Obama, and an Obama doll wearing a long-sleeve shirt that reads ‘Hoax.’

Owner Bill Skuby insisted, “It’s not political, it’s personal. We deal with a 1 percent customer; they come in here and shake my hand. My business is through the roof because of this.”

What does that even mean? That he’s a racist for the money?

Of course the display is disrespectful to the President of the United States, but when have white racists ever respected any black person? To them, skin color is the measure of a man’s character, not his stature, accomplishments, or office.

Many residents who live in the Spring Lake area of New Jersey where the shop owner has erected the display are worried that  Skuby is giving the city a bad reputation, to which Skuby responds,’ ”At some point in your life, you (have) to stand up for what you believe in. I’m taking a stand.”

He’s taking the same ‘stand’ that the Confederate soldiers took in the Civil War, I guess. American white racists are proud of their racism and wear it like a badge of honor. That, more than anything, should scare us all.
