Queen Latifah’s Daytime Talk Show to be Aired on CBS Next Year

This is the year of the black daytime talk show host.  First, Wendy Williams got her shot.  Then, there was Steve Harvey.  Next, there was the announcement that Iyanla Vanzant would be co-hosting with Anderson Cooper.  Now, Queen Latifah has joined the fold with a show that is set to be aired on the CBS network.

Working with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Latifah has joined forces with Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV to create a syndicated show that she is going to host.   The show is going to be called “The Queen Latifah Show,” and is going to feature pop culture, celebrity interviews, musical performances and nearly everything else.   Latifah is just the latest celeb to try to fill the massive void left by Oprah Winfrey after she left the air two years ago.

In addition to hosting the show, Latifah stays busy with Flavor Unit, her production company.  Latifah is also part of the caste for Steel Magnolias, which has been a hit on Lifetime.

    “First Wendy Williams…”

This article is bullshyt! The Queen had a talk show back in 1999 to 2001…waaaaaay before Wendy came on the scene. Who are they kidding? I hate it when writers tell lies and think they won’t be called on it. WELCOME BACK TO DAYTIME, QUEEN!
