A video that is being dubbed by The Drudge Report as “Obama’s Other Race Speech” is starting to get attention all over the web. The video is supposedly going to be released on Hannity at 9 pm and involves some kind of sermon with Jeremiah Wright in the audience. That’s all I know at this point, but I presume the president is in there somewhere.
CNN reached out to me about the video, stating that they hear that it could lead to some serious scrambling by the Obama camp as the presidential debates are set to be aired tomorrow. The Drudge Report is claiming that there is internal debate at Fox News about whether or not to release the video, so whatever it is, it sounds significant.
If the video is released, I’ll be glad to discuss it with CNN’s AC360, the network that reached out to me about it today. I stopped doing any appearances on Fox News five years ago, and I’m not enough of an Obama apologist to be on MSNBC very much (I’ve never been a cheerleader for any politician, I just want them to do their jobs). But I expect that this is yet another one of those videos that the right wing is going to try to use to paint President Obama as an angry black man, which is worse than having criminal record. I know this tactic well, since that’s how Bill O’reilly tried to get me fired from Syracuse University a few years ago (it sort of worked, since my colleagues have been afraid of “the angry black guy” since then).
Fox News knows that there are millions of Americans who fear and dislike everything that might appear to be authentically black. Like a rat in the gutters of New York City, the network feeds off that which the rest of us deem to be most vile and disgusting. They bring out the worst in America, and are only able to exist because our country remains sick with the disease of racism.
When America truly becomes a post-racial society, Fox News will cease to exist. Until then, they will survive in the same way that a liquor store survives in a neighborhood full of alcoholics. The demand for racist diatribe ultimately drives the supply in what is a very sick and sad relationship. Fox provides entertainment to those who wish to fantasize about the days when white guys could do whatever they wanted, and the rest of us simply had to take it. Fortunately, many of these viewers won’t be around in another 15 years.
The fact that Barack Obama is going to win this election over Mitt Romney ultimately says that our country’s greatness overwhelms its negatives, and that’s a good thing for all of us. The Obama presidency is a reminder to our country of exactly what we are made of.

As a Child,I was born and raised in the south with Jim Crow Laws.I couldn’t comprehend why white folks hated Black people.I thought that I should be hated them for the way we were treated. I am 77 years old and when President Obama ran for President in the 21st century, I have seen the worst racism against this man ,ever.He is not perfect but what was left by Bush a cesspool. Garbage in and garbage out.The Bank and Greed made a Jackass out of all those who refinanced and purchased homes,cars then loss everything.I am sick of Black people talking about helping the poor.During my era, some black men worked two and three jobs and people shared.Stop blaming Obama and blame your selves for your own actions.Some monies coming in is better than no monies.Ignorance is Bliss!! Some Crab Blacks hate Obama just like some white folks!!!

“Fortunately most of these viewers won’t be around in the next 15 years.” Are you kidding me, Dr. Boyce?? How do you think racism continues to exist! They are recycled like old trash at a landfill. (Pun intended).
And as far as Obama winning being a positive thing for this country means nothing. The powers that be controls the strings. Same ish; different day.

I’m looking at Fox News now. Hannity and Tucker Carlson are two idoits. All I have to say is Black people in the media, when asked to comment, better come correct. No more beating around the bush trying to make them comfortable. They assume we are always angry,make it a reality. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
