Romney Surrogate: Colin Powell Endorsed Obama Because He’s Black

One of the most racist theories to come out of the Obama era  is that blacks are only supporting President Obama because he’s black. Were white people supporting Clinton, Carter, or Reagan because they were white?

To say that a black person is only voting for Obama because he’s black discounts the ability or desire of black people to weigh the issues, and make the same thoughtful considerations that every other electorate makes. But the chorus of people saying, ‘blacks only vote for Obama because he’s black’ began in the 2008 election cycle, and unhinged Romney surrogate John Sununu is again picking up that talking point.
