R&B singer Alicia Keys has been very vocal about her joy of being a mother. Two years ago, the singer said she wanted to create tools for children after having her son with rap producer, Swizz Beatz.
Staying true to her word, she is now launching an interactive app for children at the low cost of $3.99. The app, named The Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee, is about a young girl’s relationship with her wise grandmother. The app’s plot is loosely based on Keys’ life in New York and her relationship with her grandmother.
“It’s a new adventure for me, and I’m really enjoying it,” Keys said in an interview on Wednesday.
