When I received a call from my good friend Marc Lamont Hill about appearing on his show on Huff Post Live, the answer was an automatic “yes.” Not that I care one way or the other about appearing on The Huffington Post (liberals can be as racist and condescending as conservatives, plus I believe we need more black-owned media to have a truly authentic voice), but I respect Marc immensely. Marc is the shining star of the Columbia University faculty, and also the kind of black intellectual warrior we need to do the heavy lifting to move our community forward.
After making the mistake of agreeing to do something without knowing all the details, I then asked the producer, “Who else is going to be there?”
The producer said, “Oh, you’ll be on with Ann Coulter.”

How can this lady call the President of the United States a r****d? If the President was a pure white person he would not be hated as he is. It’s not the job he is trying to do, it is his color. You can feel the hatred now between the races during this election. For that lady to call the President a r****d is sickening. Nothing is being said about that.It hurt that a person that look like she does could call a person a r****d.It shows that she is sick mentally, and very prejudice. Mitt Romney is a mormon and nothing is said about that. The beliefs, and what their teaching is. If Ann Coulter tried to go to the Mormon church would she be allowed in? Would she be considered a r****d to go to the church.Who is the r****d?Is her job that important that she can call a person out of their name, this is a father and husband and she call the president a r****d.That is sick to do that, this is somebodies relative, sombodies father, and husband.
