Donnie McClurkin: Debate Should Inform, Not Entertain

The days leading up to the second presidential debate were full of anticipation and excitement. The issue that pastor and gospel artist, Donnie McClurkin, is having is that the commentators were talking about the debate like it was a sporting event.

McClurkin just wrapped up a tour called “The King’s Men” with Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, and Israel Houghton and has now shifted his attention back to the upcoming presidential elections. He tweeted,

“Now begins the analyst’s spin on who won the debate. the debate wasn’t 2 ‘entertain’ as a PRIZE FIGHT..it was 2inform 4the sake of deciding.”
