One of the things that we know to be true in America today is that children are not being properly educated.  Making matters worse is the fact that black children are increasingly being left behind in the educational gap and it’s costing the African American community in numerous ways.  There are armies of educators on the front lines, all fighting to make the situation right.

One of the soldiers in the battle to save black boys and girls is Howard University political science professor Dr. Wilmer Leon.
