Louis Farrakhan is never a man to water-down his words for anyone. In a recent speech in Charlotte this week, the minister aimed right at the self-esteem of President Barack Obama in reference to his next debate. His message was clear: Stand up and fight for what you believe in.
“Mr. President, you’ve got to realize you’re fighting for your presidential life,” said Farrakhan. “You’re fighting for your vision of the Democratic Party and the country.”
Farrakhan was speaking on the 17th anniversary of the 1995 Million Man March. He changed the nature of his speech at the last minute, which is the right you earn when you are a 79-year old leader with the ability to influence millions of people.
