George Zimmerman Sues NBC Over Omission in 911 Tape

Back in March, NBC aired what the public thought was the full audio of George Zimmerman’s 911 call shortly after he shot and killed a young teenage boy, Trayvon Martin, in Sanford, Florida.

Now we learn that although the tape was authentic, it had an omission and George Zimmerman is suing the network behind NBC, Peacock Network.

The Post reports that Zimmerman’s attorney’s have gone directly after NBC News President Steve Capus and correspondent Ron Allen. Allen is the Today reporter behind the airing of the audio on March 27.
