Jerry Sandusky Gets 30 to 60 Years and Still Thinks He’s a Victim

To hear Jerry Sandusky tell it, he’s the victim of a broad conspiracy.  But no matter how he wants to describe the situation, the former Penn State football coach has been given 30 – 60 years in prison for abusing young boys over several years, at times using university facilities.  The perpetual shame of Penn State University is that they knew about it and did nothing.

Sandusky didn’t give a speech that expressed much remorse.  He didn’t apologize to his victims of even admit that he had any.  Instead, he went into a diatribe about how he was wronged by the system and didn’t do anything wrong.  It appears that the man is truly sick.

“When I look at those walls, I see the light,” said Sandusky.   “I love people who won’t quit. I love ordinary people who overcome. I love underdogs.”
