R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has decided to use his power to declare war against student loans. The pastor understands the impact that these loans have had on the ability of students to move on with their financial lives. The cost of university tuition has continued to skyrocket, similar to the costs of healthcare and other necessities that students need in order to survive. This has made it difficult for students to get by into middle age and adulthood.
“If your concern is to get young people into the churches or on the mission fields, the greatest enemy other than Satan himself is educational debt,” Mohler said, “because there are far too many young people graduating who are slaves to that debt when they need to be unfettered slaves to Christ.”

Derrick, I don’t agree with you too much but you are right on this time. Some countries like Russia do send their kids to college for free but they make sure the courses they take are needed. Therefore, they don’t have kids taking courses which are not going to help them in any way.

If this is suppose to be the richest country in the world, how come a poor country like Venezuela let their students go to school for FREE? They have FREE education, hospitalizatin and housing, so why can’t amerikkka do the same?
Once they graduate from college here in amerikka, there are no jobs because the government (willie lynch) is sending jobs overseas for cheap labor, with no unions.
I beleive this shyt is a game because these universities make billions off of their athletic programs, so why charge students all this money to get educated? The only thang students should pay for is books!
These universities and colleges are in on this scheme together to keep their students broke and poor, then press them to pay back money when THERE ARE NO JOBS IN THEIR FIELDS ONCE THEY GRADUATE!
This is a game folks, and as usual the government and banks are the culprits.
WHEN WILL WE LEARN?

Much of this debt was due to the fact that many students were never taught by their parents the basics of austerity. They thought they should go through college enjoying all the perks of upper middle class students, including credit cards which let them buy fickle foolish playthings like picture taking overpriced cell phones, and expensive computers.

John, go get some education. This article is about the rising cost of tuition and student loans. This is not about cell phones or laptops.
In case you did not know this, there are some software programs that require top notch laptops with certain amounts of ram and space.
So please shut up until you get a full grasp of the situation.
