Kansas City rap tycoon Tech N9ne has already had a phenomenal year. His “Hostile Takeover” independent music tour was immensely successful and went down as the longest tour ever done in rap history. In 99 days, the Strange Music magnate made stops in 90 cities to perform across the country. That type of hard work and dedication to his fans has made Tech N9ne the most successful independent artist in the world.

Tech probably does better financially than a lot of national acts who are signed directly to major labels. He has already released two solo projects this year (Klusterfuk & E.B.A.H). The second 2012 project E.B.A.H, which stands for Evil Brain Angel Heart, debuted in the Billboard Top 30 Albums chart. Without any type of major promotion whatsoever, the ten-track EP still sold around 17,000 units in its first week.
