Chris Brown and Drake will not face charges for the showdown they had at an NYC nightclub, over the summer. Sources have told TMZ that they don’t have sufficient evidence to pursue charges in the matter.Law enforcement reports that the investigation into the brawl at WIP nightclub on June 14th has been concluded and there are no charges filed against the rappers and their entourages.
Sources are saying that the surveillance camera video from the club was of no help because it was too dark and too blurry to make out anything. They are also saying that interviews conducted by the NYPD did not lead to a firm conclusion.
Several people were injured in the incident, including NBA star Tony Parker, bodyguards, and club goers. Parker has since sued the club with claims that he suffered an eye injury during the altercation, asking for $20 million. TMZ reached out to Drake’s attorney, Blair Berk, who says, “Drake was never even a suspect so it’s no surprise.”
