Let’s just put it out there: Eric Hartsburg is an idiot. If you don’t remember Hartsburg, he’s the guy who auctioned off space on the side
of his face on ebay for $15,000. The winning bidder, a Republican, wanted Hartsburg to use the space on the side of his face as a permanent ad for Mitt Romney, and Hartsburg obliged.
Hartsburg had the Romney “R” logo tattooed on the side of his face, and said that because he was a registered Republican and a Romney supporter, didn’t mind getting the tattoo.
Even after Romney lost, Hartsburg vowed to keep the tattoo, saying he had no regrets.
“I’m a tattoo guy, and it was something fun,’ he said. ‘I was trying to make politics fun. I didn’t change no lives; I’m no hero. But I shed blood for this campaign, and I’m glad to know that I did all that I could.”
But what about the guy who paid Hartsburg $15,000 to tattoo the Romney logo on his face? Does he get his money back too?
